The Keepers of the Mystery

A collection of figurative ceramic sculptures using found objects to create stories from my imagination. The stories evolve within the process of creating an individual piece. Once the figures are fired, I handpaint them using a buildup of layers of acrylic glazes. Then I mine through the local antique, craft and thrift stores to find objects to illustrate the story. I often am not sure until the end what they really came here to say. --MC
